Andre’s Award

Our Employee of the Month award for April has gone to assistant chef, Andre Fernandes.

Andre is one of our longest serving members of staff, having been part of our catering team for more than 20 years. During that time, he has become a vital cog in our kitchen partnership, producing tasty, nutritious, food and always with a smile on his face.

Head chef, John Weallens, who has worked alongside Andre for most of those two decades, says: “I count myself fortunate to have had Andre working alongside me for such a long time. We have built on our skills, knowledge and love of food together and I have seen Andre become a loyal, dedicated and highly competent member of staff. He is a pleasure to work with and I hope we can look forward to developing, producing and serving many more delicious menus together.”
